NET-G comes into operation from January 2023 with state-of-the-art technologies

The NET-G service, the most recent internet provider in Angola, will start operating fully from January 2023, with an investment estimated at around 111 million euros and creating another 4.100 jobs, in a first phase.

"We are betting on state-of-the-art technologies. In this first phase, the project will generate more than four thousand jobs, of which 1.930 are direct and 2.170 are indirect.”, said the project's executive director, Laur Teixeira, at the service's launch event.

The manager also underlined that NET-G is an Internet service provider, which offers differentiated and innovative solutions, aimed at the general public. He also guaranteed that the Internet service will bring a new dynamic to the Angolan economy, also aiming to promote science and education.

According to what was revealed at the presentation ceremony, NET-G will meet the needs of the general public, from the education system to industries, boosting the economy, providing differentiated Internet services.

In this first phase, adds Laur Teixeira, services will be available in 50 percent of the urban area of ​​Luanda, in the short term covering the entire extension of the country's capital and later expanding to other provinces, initially in Cabinda, Benguela, Huambo , Huíla, Malanje, Cuanza-Sul, Uíge, Namibe, Lunda-Norte and Bengo.

The service is carried out by specialized companies that offer broadband Internet connections via cable, satellite, radio or fiber optics. The director assured that NET-G's objective is to offer a service with a reliable, unlimited connection, high speed, low cost and provide satisfaction to all customers.
