It's no secret that it was never to the liking of Netflix your streaming service subscribers to share their accounts. In 2022 the company has sought to test new methods to prevent its members from sharing accounts and, according to the The Wall Street Journal, it seems that the plan is to move forward.
Despite not having yet announced a system with which to tackle this practice, the publication seems certain that Netflix will start by starting to implement a way to prevent users from different homes from accessing the same account.
BUT: Netflix will charge extra for shared accounts
It should be remembered that Netflix has sought to look at different methods to prevent users from sharing accounts. To this end, the company has launched a new subscription plan for its service which, despite containing advertisements, is also more accessible from a financial point of view.
We will have to wait to see how Netflix intends to tackle this practice.
