Nokia aims to establish relationships with national telephone companies

A Nokia, Finnish multinational telecommunications and technology company, intends to establish relations with existing telephone operator companies in the country in order to promote technologies that allow data to be transported more efficiently and cheaper.

The Finnish company held a meeting last week in Luanda, with the telecommunications companies in Angola, so that together they can find solutions and make Nokia start offering its range of products in the national market, which will bring a certain innovation as well as developing quality services and reducing sales prices to users.

Ricardo Silva, Nokia's network director for the Middle East and Africa, said there is a need to increase its presence with the collaboration of national telecommunications companies, namely, Unitel, Movicel e Angola Telecom, in order to extend commercial ties and investments and because Angola is a strategic country for the Finnish company.

According to the official, Nokia has many products related to the fixed part, networks, to promote the data connection in order to work faster and help the population to connect faster and have a fourth and fifth generation service .

"The whole product produced by Nokia has the function of transporting data more efficiently, so we excel at the most advanced technologies to transmit more data in a reduced amount of time" - Ricardo Silva.

According to it, previously Nokia was a telephone and networking company. But the phone area was sold to Microsoft five years ago. Therefore, the company now has five business units, namely analytical applications, Hi Fi networks, fixed and technologies.

Enrique de Vale, the head of sales for the business area for the Middle East and Africa, reiterated that Nokia intends to show new capabilities to help Angolan operators and identify new solutions.
