New Mac Pro will be produced in the USA

In June this year Apple introduced the new Mac Pro, the most powerful computer ever introduced by Apple. But now interesting information has emerged, Apple will produce its new Mac Pros in Austin, Texas, continuing to build the computers in the same facilities as the previous generation Mac Pros.

This is a surprise announcement from Apple. When the new generation Mac Pro was announced, Apple did not mention where they were assembled, despite making a big deal about how the next generation would be built in the U.S. Right after the announcement, the The Wall Street Journal it also reported that Apple planned to move manufacturing to China for several reasons. Among the reasons were speed and costs, which could have been reduced outside the United States.

A Apple says the new Mac Pro, due out this fall, will be "manufactured" at the Austin facility. Previously, Apple used the phrase "Assembled in the USA" to clarify that its computers were not entirely built in the USA, due to the use of components manufactured abroad. Apple does not say whether it will be the same this time, but says that the value of the components manufactured in the United States in the new machines has increased 2,5 times.

It is also unclear whether these machines manufactured in the USA will be distributed internationally or only in the USA. Apple, at one point, says that some of the components made in the United States are "for distribution to US customers."
