Not that it is something that we are waiting for to be announced already in this WWDC 2015, and it is not even the appropriate place for that, but surely this year Apple should announce and launch its new iPhone. Right after the big launch of the iPhone 6, it is normal for Apple to make its normal "update" and introduce a new model on the market with the letter "s".
So at this point there are several predictions made by analysts or rumors of people close to Apple workers. So here we summarize what is already said about the new iPhone 6s:
- It is almost unanimous that the name will be iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. There were still rumors of a smaller iPhone, more to the size of iPhone 5S or 4S, but gradually this information has lost relevance.
- Apparently, after Apple failed to launch its smartphones with a sapphire screen, the company will turn entirely to Gorila Glass. Rumors suggest that Apple uses the same screen used by Samsung in its S6, the Gorila Glass 4. After being considered one of the most fragile new generation mobile phones on the market, the apple company is quite capable of going this way.
- Still on the subject of weakness and trying to remedy some past controversy, the company may strengthen the internal construction of the device, making it more robust and less prone to the iPhone tors, as seen in videos and images to happen with the iPhone 6 Plus.
- Another novelty will be a new processor, more powerful and certainly will be the A9. Once again the same will be produced by Samsung.
- We will also see, according to the same sources, a significant improvement in the camera of the new iPhone that will go from 8MP to 12MP. It is worth remembering that the last time Apple increased the megapixels of the iPhone camera was from the iPhone 3GS to the iPhone 4.
- A rumor that has gained a lot of strength is the fact that the new iPhone uses the force sensor that was used in the Apple Watch and also in the trackpad of the new MacBook.
- RAM also seems to increase from 1GB to 2GB, just like the camera, Apple does not change this component very often. The last time this happened was at the launch of the 5 iPhone which upgraded from an 512MB memory to an 1GB memory that remains to this day on the iPhone 6.
- Finally, rumors also point out that Apple has not given up on the "c" line of their iPhones. That is, Apple could launch along with the new iPhones 6s some color line of them and may be the iPhone 6c but with significant improvements and away from the low cost iPhone controversies that iPhone 5c won at launch.
