Gone are the times when the Angolan people faced extreme difficulties associated with the technology/telecommunications sector. This period was when a minority had to adapt to the few conditions of access and handling of technology, thus allowing the monitoring of social dynamics.

The process of inclusion to technological growth had its strong start in the early 2000s, when it was possible to find in the capital of the country some training centers, small spaces where it was possible to have access to the internet (where people could join social networks, make use of emails, and also search for academic content online) which somehow helped a lot in the familiarization process. Currently, in 2021, we have improvements and a much more developed ICT sector: with network infrastructures that extend to the entire national territory, automation of services, technologies that allow us to do e-commerce, etc.

Knowing that we are on the right path and with remarkable growth, the need arises for the national population to respond to what we have achieved so far with much effort and sacrifice.

What subsidies are expected from our population in view of the continuous investments in this sector?

Greater involvement of the population is expected in the use of new emerging solutions that are being implemented (Mobile Money, Internet Banking) that facilitate commercial activities and allow payment for services in a more convenient way. practical, fast and safe thus allowing to avoid the great floods experienced in commercial banks in our Angola. In times of pandemic, citizen involvement in the use of ICTs in their favor became even more necessary. I dream of the day when we can see students (as a whole), vendors (travellers and beyond), small local entrepreneurs (carpenters, tailors) associate their work with technology and start enjoying the versatility of being able to evolve at a pace significant.

Primarily, it is expected that the major players in our market will continue to invest in technological inclusion campaigns (creating programs that make citizens feel motivated to use new technologies in their favor to carry out work tasks and pay for services households). Only a minority of the national population is already able to transact in non-physical currency, but with time the objective is to improve and increase the number.
