O Twitter is testing a new monetization tool for copyrighted content and popular users. An image published by application researcher Jane Manchun Wong shows a tip button directly on the profile within the social network.

So if you don't know, Twitter has already confirmed that it is exploring what it can do to monetize its platform. And apparently, on the table, is this new feature of being able to tip any user. In fact, it seems that the implementation of the functionality is already quite advanced.
The functionality has not yet been officially confirmed by Twitter. It is not yet known whether it should arrive as a function open to the general public in the next updates. Even if it arrives, it is possible that there is some kind of limitation on who can receive or make donations.
In addition to tips, Wong also showed another new feature: the “Super Follow”, announced in February by the social network. The subscription function guarantees access to exclusive content from some profiles. The idea is to attract digital influencers and increase the company's profit sources.
Interestingly, Wong also found evidence in March that Twitter is working on a feature called "Tip Jar" for Twitter Spaces, the social audio rooms similar to the company's Clubhouse. This is interesting, because on April 5, the very Clubhouse introduced this tipping feature to your application.
