O Galaxy Note 7 officially introduced in the month of August of 2016, having left the lovers of the line Footnotes quite enthusiastic, but it seems that things did not go as expected, this for both the company and its customers.
After the smartphone was put on the market, problems started, with the Galaxy Note 7 starting to explode just like that, some exploded when they were charging, some didn't. In the course of these facts, the company even suspended the sales of the smartphone to determine the reason for the explosions, since it did not happen with just one user.
After the discovery of the “battery” problem, which was the main reason for the explosions, the South Korean company launched a Galaxy Note 7 Replacement Program. The most curious thing is that even after several smartphones of this model were replaced, the problem continued, this ended up leading the company to definitively cancel the production of the device.
Samsung has now come to the public to confirm the suspension of production of the Galaxy Note 7, having also informed that "the safety of its customers is its highest priority". In the same statement, the company also asked consumers who use any Notes 7 (including replacement units) to immediately return them to where they were purchased.
In order not to harm customers, during the return, customers can choose another device from Samsung or other manufacturers. With this whole incident and the official pronouncement of the company, the shares fell 8%, this is the biggest daily drop in almost a decade.
