The beginning of the year for OpenAI was marked by the unveiling of the Sora, a new tool for Artificial Intelligence Generative (AI) capable of creating videos from text commands.
The AI company has already stated that it intends to officially launch Sora this year, but before that, it appears that OpenAI intends to start presenting this tool to studio executives in Hollywood.
BUT: OpenAI considers launching rival to Apple's Siri
Bloomberg says that OpenAI co-founder and CEO Sam Altman will have meetings throughout the week with Hollywood studio executives. The publication's sources even mention that the objective is to exemplify how Sora can be implemented in film production and that, in fact, some great actors and directors will have already had access to the AI tool.
In reaction to this news, OpenAI said that the company has "a deliberate strategy of working collaboratively with industry through an iterative release process to ensure safe implementation and give people an idea of what’s on the horizon.”.
