
A OpenAI unveiled Sora earlier this year, a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) tool capable of creating videos from a short text description. Ten months after a testing phase where access was given to a limited number of people, Sora is finally available between us.
Sora was officially launched this Monday, the 9th, and is available to all subscribers of the Sora subscriptions. ChatGPT – namely the Pro and Plus. However, it should be noted that Sora is currently unavailable in the European Union and United Kingdom.

"We will do our best to be able to launch [in Europe], but we don't have anything to announce yet. And there are a few more countries where we can't operate.", said OpenAI co-founder and CEO Sam Altman during a live broadcast of the launch.
As for Sora itself, TechCrunch reports that this AI tool can generate videos between 5 and 20 seconds long. The company has already admitted that Sora can make some mistakes and that "it `s not perfect", but believe that “it will be very useful to enhance human creativity".
