To answer the question of which African country has the most cryptocurrency holders, we analyzed the cryptocurrency payment company and database collector. Triple A, especially global cryptocurrency adoption trends.

The company collected data from a total of 16 cryptocurrency reports across the world from various sources, including the University of Cambridge, Statista, and Bank of America, to name a few.

Nigeria remains the undisputed king of cryptocurrencies in Africa, with by far the highest number of cryptocurrency users/holders across the continent. Nigeria also has the 4th highest amount of overall cryptocurrency users on Earth, surpassed only by Pakistan, India and the US.

Africa's most populous country is closely followed by Africa's most developed nation, South Africa.
