The digital wallet PayPay Africa, which allows you to make payments, transfer and receive money using your phone number and QR code, was chosen as the Best Fintech and Mobile Payment Solutions in Angola, Innovation Awards 2022, organized by Angola Innovation Summit.
The award, which came from the public and jury voting, recognized PayPay Africa as the best digital wallet in the country, in the Financial Inclusion category, where the decisive factors for choosing it were quality, reach, notoriety and the social impact of the results, or potential, of digital projects in the PALOP region.
In an official note, PayPay Africa informs that "we won this award thanks to you who believed and voted for us”, and where this achievement will allow more “continue to bring innovations in the mobile payment system, many benefits for society, from the financial inclusion of the population and making the circulation of the Kwanza increasingly digital in the country".
BUT: PayPay offers new international services to customers
PayPay Africa, which also allows checking the balance of the bank account and associating it with a digital wallet, is an innovative technological project authored by several young national entrepreneurs, in the person of Conectando-Society Provider of Payment Services, LDA, and where said platform can be used by people who have a bank account domiciled in national territory, namely, Sun Bank, Atlantic e BAI.
It should also be noted that the digital wallet is a platform authorized by the National Bank of Angola, and all its operability is ensured by a strong team of computer engineers, as well as being supported by the main provider of the application. System maintenance and updates are also ensured by the same team of engineers, and where the physical and logical security of the cryptographic products respect the relevant security requirements of the company.
