Why would the worst 2015 passwords be revealed? The answer is obvious, to discourage anyone who still had plans to use one of them.

The survey was done by the company  SplashData, specializing in security software. Since 2011 this company has done the job of collecting the 25 worst passwords.

The list is made taking into account the databases made available (in an unofficial way) throughout the year in the United States. For the 2016 version, more than 2 million passwords were analyzed, according to the company.

Once again the combinations “123456” and “password” were considered the worst passwords that exist. Other passwords that offer no guarantee are: “qwerty”, “abc123” and “111111”.
