Angolan “crowdfunding” platform has already raised three million kwanzas

How does it work?

The founder of the platform earns in each 'fundraising' campaign a commission of 5% of the amount requested for a particular social cause. BantuMarkers has a hundred projects under review and is in the talent hunt phase.

Two years after its launch, the platform raised 3 million kwanzas, with more than three campaigns started in January from 2019. The platform has three campaigns, two of which are promoted by some child care homes and associations that help poor families. The other campaign is about the drought in Cunene, the initiative of the Capital Market Employees Association. Alone, this campaign has raised over the last ten months about 1,2 million kwanzas, representing about 40% of the three million kwanzas collected in total.

Second Vanda de Oliveira (Co-founder of 'Bantu Markers'), 2019 is being the best time for the company, as it is the period that the institution has registered not only more flow on the page, but also more collections. The 10 months of this year represent an increase of 60% over the same period last year.

In addition to 'Deya', 'Bantu Markers' has about 100 projects under review and, according to Vanda de Oliveira, is looking for talent to direct certain projects that may be approved.
