More than 6 startups are in the final phase of their incubation at the Technological Center “digital“, a national platform aimed at promoting telecommunications technicians, information and computer technologies, as well as small, medium and large companies, in order to strengthen this subsector of the national economy.

According to Miriam Fernandes, responsible for this technological solution, the completion of the incubation of these startups opens up space for others, which can be incubated for six months and be ready for implementation on the market.

Also head of department in the area of communication, innovation, technology and modernization of services at the National Institute for the Promotion of the Information Society (INFOSI) mentioned that the platform receives many requests for technological projects, a fact that reveals the increase in the creative spirit of young people.

"We received several startup applications, but unfortunately we do not have the space to accommodate them all at the same time. Therefore, we decided to shorten the incubation time from two years to six months”, he informed in an interview with ANGOP.

For innovative projects to be part of Digital.AO, Miriam Fernandes said that the selection process initially involves an analysis of the economic and social impact.

Please note that very recently, Digital.ao presented eight new software developed by its Software and Technological Automation Factory (FSAT), in particular the Integrated System for Academic Work (Sita), Car Control and Security, Parking, ATM withdrawals via Fingerprint, Water Consumption Control, Centrality Mapping and the Smart Bus.

The Software and Technological Automation Factory has, among other objectives, to develop logical solutions with the possibility of automating its processes, even if still in small-scale prototypes, to promote initiative and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Inaugurated in 2021, the unit translates into a set of resources, processes and structured methodologies and uses the best practices created for the software development, testing and maintenance process.
