From the end of this month of November, ten small and national micro-enterprises will be connected to the platform E-Learning Mentor Day, which consists of a program for the acceleration and sustainable growth of production units via online.

This information was provided by the director of the National School of Commerce (ENCO), Nasser Alexandre, where he said that Mentor Day is a platform of Spanish origin that, in partnership with that national institution, agreed to grant Angola the opportunity to connect ten companies of the country, in a pilot experience.

Mentor Day's E-learning is a platform where more than 600 high-level investors, more than three thousand entrepreneurs, specialists, advisors, financial institutions, including banks, as well as volunteer mentors in Spain and other countries on the European continent are integrated. .

Its training system consists primarily in the development of professional training actions, access to funding sources and ease of internationalization of companies, in the words of Nasser Alexandre.

The official also added that the ten Angolan companies will have to go through a selection process guided by ENCO, a process that takes into account the legal status, technological conditions and capacity to generate employment, with the qualification involving the value of 700 thousand kwanzas.

Companies that are registered at ENCO's headquarters, in Luanda, until the 29th of that month, where the director said that they will receive, by email, a link and password to access the platform, will be selected. Submitted to the application step, selected companies will undergo a training program for two weeks, subject to the obligation to complete up to 70 percent of the program, in order to access the final phase, where they are entitled to finance the projects accepted in the platform.

In the first training phase, which is called pre-acceleration, candidates are trained with the help of a mentor.

On the other hand, in the second phase, which is known as the acceleration stage, companies will have to demonstrate the technical-professional capacity acquired during the training period, presenting the project to a stock exchange of more than 500 investors, including bank employees.

It should be noted that the amount of funding to be granted to each company depends on the size, breadth and usefulness of the project, and where, for one year, the company is accompanied by a volunteer mentor, selected according to the needs of each company.

The entire communication process takes place in English and Spanish. With a view to providing an opportunity for a greater number of Angolan companies to benefit from this type of initiative, the director of the Escola Nacional do Comércio indicated that the institution is already working to prepare the Mentor Day Angola project, which is introduced after the pilot experience phase. , involving domestic and international financial institutions.
