Technological platform "SMS Jovem" registers more than 92 thousand users

The "SMS Jovem" technological platform has registered more than 92 thousand users nationwide since its implementation, in early 2020, according to the project's information analyst, Ângelo Nunda.

The “SMS Jovem” project consists of a technological innovation that allows an active interaction between adolescents and young people, in order to influence them to make decisions about good practices related to sexual and reproductive health, citizenship, gender and disease prevention.

 “We've already received three million questions and managed to help several teenagers and young people,” said Ângelo Nunda.

The country's capital, Luanda, is the province that had the most registration on the platform, where most of the participants were boys, aged between 14 and 21 years old.

"At the moment, we only work with the operator Unitel” he said, adding that the messages sent are confidential.

He appealed to teenagers and young people to join the platform, as it is a safe virtual space, created for them to interact without fear and taboos.
