The National Police (PN) in the municipality of Damba, province of Uíge, recovered a large range of fiber optic cables, belonging to the company Movicel, which left the location without communication from the operator's mobile telephone network.

With the recovery of the fiber optic cables, the PN arrested two citizens accused of the respective crime and according to the Damba administrator, the suspects were questioned on the public street and still had a bag in their possession, containing a large quantity of fiber optic cables. .

Based on the investigation, the material was cut on a transport line and the two were caught red-handed as they headed towards the buyer's residence, who was also already detained.

Eulália Dombaxi expects the accused to pay for the scale of the damage caused to the population of Damba.

"Currently, residents have difficulties using Movicel's mobile phone network. It is a completely reprehensible attitude", said.
