AGT Taxpayer Portal with problems, and users are unable to pay taxes

O Taxpayer Portal has presented technical problems, since the beginning of the morning of today, January 18, where several users claim that they are not able to pay their taxes, as well as resolve issues related to their contributory situation, reveals the Journal Expansion.

According to what the Angolan newspaper found, the entity that owns the Taxpayer Portal, the General Tax Administration (AGT), is already aware of the technical problems that the portal has been presenting since the beginning of this morning, and where it says that they are related to the “domain naming service (DNS) in the Government's corporate electronic network (GOV.AO)".

"We are already working with the Ministry of Information Technologies and the Institute for Administrative Modernization (IMA) in order to overcome the problem in a timely manner“, says an AGT source to the newspaper Expansion.

According to what the source adds, when speaking to the newspaper, taxpayers who are unable to pay taxes or solve problems in a timely manner, due to this problem, will be subject to the tolerance of the AGT.

The technical problems with the taxpayer's portal started at the end of the day yesterday, where many users tried to call the AGT during the rest of the day, but without response from the Angolan public institution.
