President of the Republic inaugurated Uíge Technological Training Center

The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, inaugurated this Tuesday, the Technological Training Center, in the province of Uíge, where it is an infrastructure with the capacity to train 600 trainees per year, in multiple areas.

The technology center will start at the end of this year, with training in various courses, such as Information Technology, IT and Multimedia, Satellite Communication, Electronics, Renewable Energy and Programming.

Named the Uíge Technological Training Center, the institution has five fully equipped training rooms and 13 incubators to install 12 companies that intend to provide services in that space.

It should also be noted that the Uíge Technological Training Center will house two training platforms, one for academy CISCO, where it will reference the certifications of an international scope and which will teach the courses on networks, among others.

On the other hand, the second platform present at the institution is called " I know how to do”, which will be used for local certifications, as well as will include courses in renewable energy, electronics, advanced computing, assembly of satellite dishes, satellite communication, among others.

Speaking to journalists, the project coordinator, Virgílio Cordeiro, said that the two platforms will offer a total of eleven courses, nine for local certifications and two for international ones.

The manager also added that the center has fully equipped laboratories and training rooms, as well as repair and maintenance areas for all technological equipment, such as computers, printers, telephones, televisions. Equipped with technological means, the center will be provided by ten technicians, and also has a programming and multimedia training room.
