Today, Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) play a fundamental role in the development of education, by making classes more dynamic, interactive and accessible. They facilitate access to information, promote digital inclusion and prepare students for the challenges of an increasingly technological world.
At the inauguration ceremony, the First Lady of the Republic was accompanied by the Minister of Education, Luísa Grilo, and the Vice-Governor of Luanda, Manuel Gonçalves.

Sponsored by the technology multinational Huawei, the “Smart Room”, the second in the country, has the capacity to teach more than 1.000 students at the same time with two teachers (online and in person) through tele-classes, conferences, debates, videos, preparing exams, among other functions.
The project also fits into efforts to promote digital inclusion, by providing access to technological tools, encouraging the pedagogical use of ICTs and reducing exclusion in the educational environment.
