Meta's paid verification program is now available in Europe

2034

After launching its paid verification system in the US, Australia and New Zealand, Meta announced that it will extend this program to the United Kingdom, says the Engadget website.

It should be remembered that this verification system asks users to pay to have the blue verified seal on their Facebook and Instagram. The system is similar to what we see today with the Blue subscription on Twitter but, in the case of Facebook and Instagram, users must present an identification document.

BUT: Meta already launched paid subscriptions for Facebook and Instagram

This system is still in the testing phase, so it should eventually reach more and more countries and markets where Meta is present.
