E-Net project in schools paralyzed

A few months ago the project “Angola Online”Was paralyzed, the promise was to have the service functional in Luanda in September this year, but apparently the same is true with another similar project. The e-Net in schools project, launched in 2013, at the Kimamuenho Magisterium, in Caxito, has not worked for five years, due to lack of technical support. The coordinator of the Kimamuenho Magisterium education course, André Manuel, explained that the project only worked for one month, but due to the lack of specialized technicians and the Internet signal, it ended up paralyzing.

Second André Manuel, the eight computers of the project are being used to scan documents of the institution, predicting that the competent entities and their partners can give solution, being a valuable project for the school and the students, the same one also emphasized that, the institution does not possess no library, which obliges students to Cybers Café, to research content for their academic work.

The e-Net project in schools is a partnership of the Ministry of Education, Unitel and Huawei, with a view to the free installation of computers with Internet connection in public and private schools of the second cycle of secondary education of the general subsystem of education, in all the provinces of Angola. One of the main objectives of this project is to improve the learning of adolescents, how to use the Internet, help establish knowledge bases in this area and encourage the taste for online information research are other objectives of the project.
