Programming Tutorial with Disney Princesses

This project was developed by the organization Code and Disney who decided on a programming tutorial that would encourage women (mainly children) to get involved in the world of programming.

To capture the attention of potential trainees, characters from the movie Frozen were used, the two princesses, Elsa and Ana. This is a way that Code and Disney found to encourage girls to choose computer science, since this course is dominated by boys. Still, classes are not blocked for boys and anyone who wants to learn can always visit Code's official website: http://code.org/

On the site you can still find classes that use characters from famous games like Flappy Bird ou Angry Birds, as a way to appeal to everyone who has ever been interested in programming.

The Code.org project has managed to reach impressive numbers since 2012, having already reached 62 thousand classrooms in the United States.

code-elsaAnd how about encouraging your child to learn to program, who knows, he may become the next Zuckurberg ...
