
More than 3.500 Cascais Group employees will be trained in the field of digital citizenship and technological inclusion, within the scope of the DIGITAL CITIZEN is an EMIS project with the support of National Bank of Angola (BNA).
According to the official statement, the training included two cycles, the first of which started last week with the participation of around 160 employees.
"The training developed within the scope of the Digital Citizen Project carried out by the Interbank Services Company (EMIS), addressed essential aspects for exercising citizenship in the digital environment, including online security, privacy, digital hygiene and the conscious use of interbank tools“, can be read in the statement.

According to the note, the first cycle will be completed in the first fortnight of June, where participants will also be able to acquire practical and theoretical knowledge that will contribute to their professional and personal performance in the digital world.
"The 2nd cycle will take place in the 2nd half of June and will include Benguela, thus demonstrating the effort of the institution and the Digital Citizen Project to promote financial literacy in various organizations, enabling employees to face challenges and take advantage of the opportunities provided by digital transformation“, explains the statement.
The first phase of the “Digital Citizen” Project began in September 2022, only in Luanda where it was possible to raise awareness of more than 200 thousand citizens.
According to the note, the second phase began in October 2023, and expects to reach 210 people in Luanda and 60 thousand people in Benguela, making a total of 270 thousand people sensitized.
