
The implementation of the Digital Education program, through the project “Virtual School – Eunice de Carvalho”, in the “Augusto Ngangula” school complex, in the municipality of Caála, province of Huambo, increased the assimilation capacity of the 270 students covered by the innovative project.
This guarantee was given by the pedagogical director of the institution of primary education and the XNUMXst cycle, Manuel da Silva Chiuca, emphasizing the great impact of the project implemented last November, mainly in raising the rate of attendance at classes and the level of assimilation of students.
The initiative is allowing 270 students out of the 2 enrolled in the Augusto Ngangula school complex”, to combine traditional teaching practices with the digitization of the educational process.
For this purpose, six classrooms were equipped with modern technological means, comprising the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grades, with a total of 14 teachers, inserted in the first phase of the execution of this innovative program.
The Director also stresses that with the implementation of the digital education programme, students began to form, from an academic point of view, concepts and definitions of more consistent contents.
He explained that students visualize, at the time of projecting the classes, the planned subjects and the respective icons in a virtual dimension as if it were real, that is, they are figures with greater didactic precision.
The official said that the incorporation of Digital Education allows students to have access to curriculum contents and programs without delay and with the possibility of becoming self-taught.
It should be noted that the “Virtual School – Eunice de Carvalho” project was created by UNITEL and the Ministry of Education (MED), where it comes to improve the quality of learning and promote digital inclusion in the education system. The aforementioned project is the result of several memorandums signed between the two parties, and which aims to improve the quality of national education, as well as learning and promoting digital inclusion in the education system.
