'Ngola Digital' project equips computer rooms in three schools in Luanda

Three schools in the country's capital, Luanda, recently received fully equipped computer rooms as part of the project “Ngola Digital”, financed by the Communications Development Support Fund (FADCOM).

The schools were School no. 1540, in the urban district of Rangel and belonging to the Roman Catholic Apostolic Church, Instituto Liceu no. 8054 and Instituto Médio de Administração e Gestão no. 6047, where they all received a computer room with 21 computers, Internet access and a projector each.

About the “Ngola Digital” project, it was revealed recently, which has already benefited more than three thousand children, in the first quarter of this year, in ten provinces of the country, where it is expected that ten new centers will be opened in Luanda in the near future, as a way of meeting the demand of children and teenagers looking for computer and internet services.

The “Ngola Digital” centers are equipped with computers and internet for the use of primary school students. As part of the Executive's digital inclusion strategy, he said, the National Institute for the Promotion of the Information Society installed 136 free internet access points across the country.
