After having promised that one of the versions of Chrome would be faster and safer, Google is determined to ban all autoplay videos that are opened in your browser.

With the 64 version of Chrome, Google started allowing users to prevent the automatic playback of videos on specific sites, but with the 66 version, the company is adding new criteria that determine when videos can be played automatically.

In the future version of Chrome, there are some conditions that need to be met in order for the media to play automatically on a site. It must be muted or not have audio, the user has to click on the site while browsing, the site has to be added to the home screen by the user on the mobile phone or the user has to have to use the media frequently on that site if it is on the desktop .

What are the other news that will appear in the future in the next version?

Chrome 66 is now on beta and should be released in the coming weeks. In addition to the new automatic playback restrictions, Chrome 66 will also display warnings after crashes caused by third-party software injection code and will remove the trust of the Symantec.
