BUT: Rádio Nacional de Angola launches international online channel

According to the Angolan leader, the step taken today aims to ensure access and dynamization of information in the different channels, which he considered as a process of normal gradual evolution, but which for the radio and the country, represent a change of a paradigm that allows since today access to provincial radios can be accessed anywhere in the world.

Even at the ceremony, Manuel Man added that the country has more than six million internet users, which still requires work to continue expanding the universe of user access, so combined actions are underway such as the construction of digitalization centers and the placement of access points the internet at various points.

He recalled that investments were being made to continue to have a faster, more accessible and safer internet, despite the fact that security is relative due to the fact that new solutions are introduced into the system on a daily basis.

To this end, he considered it necessary to continuously improve security-related issues, and in the country there are conditions that guarantee that the telecommunications infrastructure that supports the Internet has adequate security for its needs.

"In fact, we still have a lot of work to do in people's digital literacy, to deal with the behaviors that social engineering has been making available to us.", said.

It should be noted that the inaugural ceremony took place at RNA's central studios, in the country's capital, Luanda, where with this launch of RNA's streaming, any barrier of distance and place between radio listeners with regard to the contents of the radio station is overcome angolan.
