Just like in the fashion world, car manufacturers participate in trade shows to showcase their cars with more potential. Renault is investing heavily in these potential cars, we had the chance to confirm at MWC 2017, with a car connected and out of the ordinary.

Reanault The Trezor

For promoting innovations, Renault received the award for the best concept car of the year. The honors went to the “The Trezor“Renault's electric car presented in September at the Paris Motor Show. Below are some interesting features of this vehicle:

  1. Trezor is powered by two batteries, one located at the front and one at the rear. This helps give the vehicle equal weight distribution. Each battery also has its own cooling system.
  2. It has openings hood they are part of the cooling system. They move up and down to circulate the air, giving impression that the car is breathing.
  3. The maximum engine power is 260 kW, 100 km / h in 4 seconds.
  4. O panel is fully digital and connects to the smartphone to “learn” the user’s preferences.

For those who do not like autonomous cars, Renault solved this by inserting a manual mode into the car. The standalone system may be ready to 2020.

But remember, it is just a concept car and is not available commercially, although Renault has made it clear that it will use some qualities of “The Trezor” in its current cars.
