The iphone 7 Plus can come equipped with two cameras for better image quality in photos according to the analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI securities, such a system may be the result of the application of the technology of an Israeli company to Linx camera technology which Apple bought in April last year. Through the use of two distinct lenses the software can use the additional image data to create photos with substantial quality, but probably not all iPhone will carry this feature that according to Kuo will only be present on iPhone 7 Plus.
At this stage Apple may be considering two options for the iPhone 7 Plus but only one will go into production. Apple as usual waits until the "year of the S" to update the camera's capabilities. Remember that the image above is just an illustration, Apple will certainly be able to incorporate the lens system into the iPhone with more elegance.
Why would Apple put two cameras on the iPhone?
Well, there are some theories:
- LinX has already built hardware and software solutions that allow two or more lenses to work seamlessly.
- A two-camera system can increase the quality of focus in the background and recreate depth of field
- Two cameras also increase the quality of images in low illumination, performance in HDR (dynamic range), another option would be the ability to change lenses for two different zoom options
The usual iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be unveiled in September 2016, but a new iPhone could arrive in March (perhaps to compete with Samsung and the Galaxy line), and if the rumors are right it will be the 'iPhone 5se'four inches.
