The war between Samsung and Apple has had so many chapters that we probably already have enough data to write a novel.
This time the battle was in the United States of America, where Apple asked to be banned permanent sales of some smartphones Samsung, which she says are infringing on patents. The most important patents in this war are the use of fingers to zoom in or out on the screen, smartphones e tablets.
After months of waiting, a California court, represented by the district judge Lucy Koh, decided that Apple had not provided sufficient evidence that its patented features are a significant enough driver of consumer demand to justify legal action.
If Samsung had lost, certainly the loss would be huge, since important products of the Galaxy line would be banned from the US.
Now we'll see what Apple's next step will be.
