If we talk about an exploding mobile phone it is impossible you do not think of the Galaxy Note 7 from Samsung. The same has already become a worldwide parody and it is impossible that you have not yet seen a photo of a Note 7 related to an explosion.
But jokes aside, the question that remains in the air is: Why does 7 Note explode?
The great villain of this story is the battery. Tablets, mobile phones and many current technology products use lithium ion batteries, which is an extremely flammable product. But until today it has been a controllable substance and that is why all companies continue to use it due to the space they can save by allowing to create smaller, lighter and longer-lasting batteries.
The same happened with Samsung, created a lithium ion battery for your Note 7, taking advantage of all the advantages of the substance but something did not work. The Samsung Note 7 started to explode and even today, even Samsung itself has not figured out for sure why its batteries exploded, so it made the decision to collect all the Note 7 on the market. Which is still worrying for the company's next releases. Donal Finegan, a chemical engineer at University College London, said that lithium batteries “are so dense in energy and can operate under such a high power that they can combust in a particularly catastrophic way".
It seems that Samsung has increased the density of the batteries too much to increase its autonomy. Samy herself acknowledged there was a manufacturing flaw in Note 7 but did not admit that it was her fault or that of the battery manufacturer. This fault lies at the battery poles, which from a certain temperature the negative and positive poles come in contact resulting in a rise in temperature and explode.
As in today's mobile phones, there is almost no space for heat dissipation, this “flaw” substantially increases the chances of cell phone batteries exploding.
We, customers, the general public and technology lovers, continue to await concrete responses from Samsung who said recently that they were investigating the real causes of the explosions of Note 7 and saw their mobile phone being banned in virtually all international airlines even with fines for stubborn travelers.
