South Korean giant Samsung and Qualcomm will work together to create the next generation of Snapdragon processors.

In recent years, Samsung has become one of Qualcomn's most important competitors, as Qualcomm clearly dominates the semiconductor market. But for a while now, the two companies have decided to partner to create the next generation of processors “Snapdragon 835".
The collaboration between Samsung and Qualcomm has been going on for a few years, as was the case with the production of the Snapdragon 820 and Snapdragon 821, both built by 14 nanometer technology. In the case of the Snapdragon 835, its manufacturing process will use the 10 nanometer FinFET technology that began to be adopted in October this year.

The changes implemented in the production of this processor will allow the speed increase in 27% and the reduction of its size will allow the manufacturers of mobile phones to include bigger batteries or opt for a thinner design.

"We are happy to continue to collaborate with Samsung to create industry leading products for mobile devices. Using the new 10 nanometer manufacturing process will allow the Snapdragon 835 processor to consume little energy and provide much better performance, and we may include a number of elements that will improve the experiences of those who use the next terminals ”"said Keith Kressin, vice president of Qualcomm.

The first phone that could benefit from the Snapdragon 835 processor may be OnePlus 3T. This will include 6GB RAM on all versions of the device.

Its old price was $ 480, rumors say this will be $ 80 more than the OnePlus 3. The list of specifications will be complemented with an internal memory of 128 GB. The camera will have a 398-megapixel Sony IMX16 sensor, while the battery may have a capacity of 3.300mAh.
