
Within the scope of world space week 2024, which will take place from October 04th to 10th, under the motto “Space and Climate Change”, with an emphasis on highlighting Angola's achievements in the space sector to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), children and adolescents, aged 06 to 17, from Lubango, Huíla, will have the opportunity to take the free Space Technology and Small Satellites (Cansats) course, promoted by Tecno Excelência in partnership with GGPEN.

According to the information that the MenosFios editorial team had access to, the initiative is part of the Children in Computing Project, which aims to teach Kandengues Programming (creating games and 3D animations), Robotics (assembling and programming robots) and Space Education (space technology and building small satellites – CANSAT), in an environment where children learn while having fun.

For the organizers, this is a unique opportunity for the children of Lubango – a special moment where children can learn about the fascinating world of space, explore new ideas and develop essential skills for the future.
