A few years ago, the largest group of hackers and activists in the world called “Anonymous" attacked Angolan government websites, in protest of the release of political prisoners, and freedom of expression, in the operation OpLusofonia, LiberdadeJa.Agora the same group again attacked the government sites of Gabon, said group of hackers said to have carried out this attack DDoS in protest against the government of Gabon and specifically against the dictatorship of the president Ali Bongo.
O disfigurement attack and DDoS attack on the government sites of Gabon is not the first such activity of Anonymous in Africa. The group claimed responsibility for DDoS attacks in South Africa and Zimbabwe, as well as disfigurement of sites related to the Nigerian government in the past.
