SOBA e-Music, Angolan digital music platform to be presented this week

The music industry has changed radically. Sales of physical disks have declined and digital sales have increased worldwide.

Angola will not follow a different course. One of the factors that has been delaying this “digitization” is associated with the forms of payment. Solutions for mobile devices already exist, with payments associated with UTT, but with limitation for music playback on different devices (mobile + desktop).

Like other world-known platforms that allow music to reach fans digitally, SOBA e-Music emerges as the first Angolan digital music distribution and distribution platform. The great news is that the platform allows all payments to be made in Kwanzas, without the need for the user to have a credit card, as usual.
The platform had its pilot start in September of 2018, and was responsible for the release of the last album of the artist Aline Frazão, Damani Van-Dunem, and Dream Boyz, in digital format.
