Sony asks FIFA to ban the Beats from the World Cup

The World Cup has already gained prominence in the world of technology when FIFA announced that it would finally accept the electronic score line system, in order to end the doubts about the “almost goals”.

Now another controversy involving a technology company has gained prominence, it is the Beats Electronics, recently purchased by Apple. In fact, Beats probably did not even count on this controversy, since Sony is one of the official sponsors of the 2014 Football World Cup and the players have publicly used the Beats headphones.

Using the same strategy as the Samsung used at the Winter Olympic Games, Sony requires FIFA to prohibit athletes from appearing publicly with their Beats headphones (or other competing company).

In the midst of all this, Beats, I mean, Apple wins because it gets free publicity through the players and the press itself.
