After Google sold the share it had acquired from Motorola Mobile to Lenovo, we thought there would be some quiet time before we blew up any more bombs, well ... we think badly. Sony announced yesterday that it has begun the process of selling its computer division, including its entire VAIO line, and that this decision is part of the company's restructured plan, which may include more divisions within the company. The negotiation, which has already begun, is expected to end in the middle of next year.

The sale will be made to a Japanese investment fund, Japan Industrial Partners Inc (“JIP”), which has Sony itself as the holder of 5% of the group. According to the company's CEO, this sale aims to recover the company financially and let it dedicate itself more to the smartphone and tablet market.

This news may have agitated the company's stock market and stirred up some investors since there was a significant increase in demand for the company's shares, which was reflected in its sale price, contrary to what could be predicted with a news like this .
