Space X already showed he was quite ambitious when he informed that he had plans to send a Dragon capsule to Mars. The originally expected date was 2022, but it looks like the company has decided which launch has to be faster.

The company announced plans to send an unmanned spacecraft, Dragon, to Mars. The details were not revealed, as usual, Elon Musk and his companions only give clues to the upcoming events, but from what we have become accustomed to, they always end up on schedule.

The message was passed in the official account of Space X on Twitter:

“Planning to send Dragon to Mars as soon as 2018. Red Dragons will inform us about the global architectural structure of Mars, details to come”

Space X has gained notoriety in recent times as the first company to achieve the feat of reusing its rockets, making travel to space a reality.

Second Elon Musk, Dragon can land on any planet, the big challenge is to get there. But it is proven that for the first missions the capsule will not be manned.
