O Spotify presented the financial results for the previous quarter and indicated that it now has 195 million subscribers, an increase of 7 million compared to the previous quarter – one million more than anticipated.
The company now expects to surpass the 200 million subscribers mark by the end of the year and noted that, in total, it has 456 million active monthly users. With regard to content, Spotify praised that there are currently 4,7 million podcasts on the platform.

Asked about a possible increase in the price of the Spotify Premium subscription, says the The Verge that CEO Daniel Ek said he would talk to record labels to see what the possibilities would be going forward.
No news was given about Spotify's next subscription plan, HiFi.
