O Spotify confirmed to the website TechCrunch that it is currently testing the ability to create 'playlists' using Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The feature, which is only available to some Spotify users, was first spotted by a TikTok user, named @robdad_, and even shared a video showing what it's like to use it.
The new feature can be found in the tab Your Library and appears after pressing the '+' icon to create a new playlist. This option allows you to create 'playlists' with specific descriptions depending on the user's mood, with the system automatically recommending the best songs for the occasion.
Although Spotify has confirmed that this functionality is in the testing phase, it is not yet clear that these AI playlists will reach all users of the music streaming service.
