In order to create a more efficient approach to the challenges of ecosystem development, the National Institute for Support to Small and Medium Enterprises (INAPEM), revealed the main objectives of creating the Startup Angola Program.

According to the document that the MenosFios editorial team had access to, the program involves:

  1. Develop a programmatic vision in the startup ecosystem development strategy;
  2. Clearly identify areas of intervention and implement actions that address existing needs efficiently;
  3. Ensure a consistent medium and long-term approach to supporting the development of the startup ecosystem;
  4. Define objectives and effectively measure the results achieved in the short, medium and long term;

BUT: Law to regulate national startups implemented by the first quarter of 2024

From the diagnosis carried out by the public institution, a set of areas of focus on the development of the ecosystem were identified, such as Startup Assessment; Organization Analysis; Policy Analysis.

Please note that recently there was a Startup Angola Program co-creation workshop, in partnership with INAPEM and the UNDP Angola Acceleration Laboratory team, creating an incredible experience that contributed to the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Angola.

In the workshop, participants emerged on a journey of co-creation, bringing together entrepreneurs and stakeholders from the innovation and startup ecosystem to shape the entrepreneurial future in Angola. Each participant brought their unique perspective, contributing to a program that meets the needs of the local entrepreneurial community.
