The startup UroFlor is developing a mobile application for urological services called “Uroclick”, aimed at scheduling appointments and choosing a specialist anywhere in the country.

According to the project's mentor, urologist Florinda Miranda, speaking in an interview with ANGOP, the application will aim to solve the pain of the urological patient, who needs a quick, simple and private service.

The official stresses that urological services such as uropediatrics, urogynecology, general urology, andrology, sexual medicine, male reproductive medicine, as well as urogeriatrics will be on the platform.

"The patient goes with the startup to clarify doubts, choose a professional who will assist him in any part of the country or the world, without leaving home, if the patient needs surgery, he can also be attended to in a unit", said.

The “Uroclick” can be downloaded onto the mobile phone or computer and after that the user will have to register to gain access to the platform, which will have the registration of medical specialists in the services associated with urology in the country.

"The platform is at 70% completion and by September or October we will have it functional and ready to use. It provides for the enrollment of all specialists in the field, who must be at least 26 in the country.”, He stressed.

Florinda Miranda also stressed that urology in the country does not have many specialists and to be registered on the platform, the professional must be registered with the Order, be in the Angolan society of urology, among other criteria to provide greater security in the provision of services.
