Startup DBS highlighted in the 5th edition of LISPA's Fintech Incubator

The startup Digital Based Solutions (DBS) was one of the highlights of the 5th edition of the Fintech Incubator of the Payment System Innovation Laboratory (LISPA), with a view to promoting innovation, enhancing the offer of diversified financial products and services to the consumer, safeguarding risk management in order to drive financial inclusion.

The DBS technological project is a company incorporated under Angolan law dedicated and committed to the development of technological solutions to respond to needs in terms of security and authentication of financial transactions.

According to what was revealed, the focus of DBS during the Incubator period was on the development of One Time Password/One Time Token (OTP/OTT), which will respond to problems that they identified in some entities.

It should be noted that LISPA currently includes several programs to support the areas of Innovation, FinTech and InsurTech, which cover the different stages of maturity of entrepreneurs and their projects.

Conceived as an Incubator in partnership with the Angolan Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation and the company Acelera Angola, it provides innovative companies (Startups/Fintech), banks and even university students, a valuable learning space, in collaborative environment, with the purpose of encouraging the development of projects and/or ideas, encouraging technology in the Angolan Payments System.

Within its portfolio are several successful national technological projects, such as the startups Movimenta, Lwei, Kwanza Pay, Conecta, Zukese and others.
