Angolan startups outside the 2021 Southern Startup Awards winners

On the last 14th of December, the 2021 edition of the Global Startup Awards (GSA).

Our country is affected by the region SOUTHERN AFRICA STARTUP AWARDS, where in this edition Angola was represented with a wide range of national startups, such as:Kepya, Paga3, AroTec, AngoWaste, Disruption Lab, OneShop, Movimenta, Kubinga, OngueYa and Spot: , which together were competing in 9 categories.

But unfortunately, no Angolan representative managed to win an award at the event's awards gala, leaving our digital entrepreneurship ecosystem in a vacuum, in what is considered one of the main recognitions for young Africans.

Industrial Tech: LignOrganic (South Africa)

The Global Startup Awards (GSA) had its first edition in the Nordic countries, that is, in 2012, and due to its success in its first season, it expanded to other regions, including Africa.

In recent times, the GSA has been connecting ecosystems of startups, entrepreneurs and innovators in all parts of the world, and today this platform is the largest independent competition of startups-ecosystems that covers more than 10 regions worldwide.

Os Southern Africa Startup Awards Its main objective is to unite future makers of technology ecosystems, creating a spotlight for technology startups in each region and connecting each country in that region to create a stronger and more united brand.
