Taylor Swift's new album – called 'Midnights' – has already reached the Spotify and, apparently, several users have reported problems using the streaming service.
Spotify has not officially commented on the situation, but, as mentioned by Bloomberg, the DownDetector website received nearly eight thousand complaints in the minutes following Spotify's publication on Twitter promoting the American singer's album.

Meanwhile, Spotify appears to have returned to normal operation.
The situation is not exclusive to Spotify and mirrors what has been common among some forms of entertainment, such as television, where the release of series tends to pose problems for the normal functioning of streaming services.
