Angolan technicians will accompany construction of AngoSat-2 and AngoSat-3

The AngoSat-2 is being built in France by the company Airbus, and it will cost around $ 320 million. After construction is completed, it will be relocated to Russia properly in Kazakhstan for launch into orbit.

Currently, six Angolan specialists linked to the Management Office of the National Space Program (GGPEN), are attending the Master's Degree at the Instituto Superior de Aeronáutica Espacial (ISAE-SUPAERO) in Toulouse, France, will have the opportunity to monitor the construction of the AngoSat-2 payload, which is 50% complete, as well as the construction phases of the aircraft and the Angosat-3 Satellite. French satellite manufacturing company Airbus has partnership contracts for the construction of both satellites.

How is this master's degree structured?

O Master's program is sponsored exclusively by the Russian government as part of its compensation for Angola and includes training in different areas of space science and space-related technologies, such as construction and analysis of space systems, analysis of space missions, study of space innovation procedures and Trends, Research and Development, Management of Space Projects and Market Analysis, Orbital Mechanics, Navigability Space, Space Engineering in support of Space Mission Applications and Services. It also involves complementary preschool activities on nanosatellites, rockets, interplanetary exploration and aero-modeling.
