After being launched and popularized in apps like Snapchat and Instagram, it looks like Stories will reach yet another app – the messaging app Telegram.
The news was shared by CEO Pavel Durov himself on the respective Telegram channel, noting that more than half of requests for new features ask for the introduction of Stories.
"Initially, we were against this since Stories were already everywhere. However, Telegram wouldn't be Telegram if we didn't listen to our users and innovate on existing formats", noted Durov according to the 9to5mac website.

Telegram users will be able to share photos and videos that, as with Instagram and Snapchat, will automatically disappear after a while. The big news is that users have the ability to choose how long these publications will remain active.
Anyone who wants to share Stories on Telegram can choose for these publications to disappear after 6, 12, 24 or 48 hours, when the vast majority of apps only have the 24-hour option.
Another novelty is the possibility of choosing different lists for each Story published on Telegram, unlike what happens on Instagram where it is possible to choose only among all the closest followers and friends.
