Registration is now open for the 1st edition of the Innovation and Environmental Technology Award (PITA), which aims to recognize and promote Angolan talents that stand out in creating technological solutions and innovative environmental projects for the country.
According to the official statement that the MenosFios editorial team had access to, the award is carried out by Omuenho and AEGAA with a panel of specialized judges, including Professor Jorge Rufino, Tommaso de Pippo, Mateus Esteita and the renowned environmentalist Fernanda René, PITA intends to reward the best projects that demonstrate innovation, environmental technology and a positive impact on society.
From what was revealed, the most outstanding projects will receive cash prizes, scholarships and mentoring for a period of six months, where interested parties must submit their projects by January 10, 2024 through the link.
It is worth noting that only projects related to eligible themes will be considered, and group projects must have a maximum of three members, and candidates must be Angolans or residents of the country.
